The app assesses the following six work quality metrics (1. job interest [typically found in most psychometric test], 2. abilities, 3. knowledge, 4. skills, 5. work activities & 6. work styles). Your selections for these metrics are then matched against the O*Net database to formulate your top 20 list.

2. It's empirically based and uses the current and comprehensive real workers observation data from the US Department of Labor, Employment & Training.
3. Most psychometric tests assess you only in job interests. However, Career Match additionally assesses the other dimensions of Abilities, Knowledge, Skills, Activities & Styles
4. It will give you a percentage match which quantitatively measures you up against the characteristics and qualities of people who have careers in those respective jobs

Now, let’s be honest, there is no crystal ball to predict your perfect career; There are many forces at play: the economic, political, environmental & social conditions along with your career values. However, your career values are the most stable source of input under your control and this is what Career Match uses to determine your career propensity.
